About Cantiones

Cantiones is a mixed voice choir of about 40 singers based in the Shropshire market town of Oswestry. 
 We continue our concert series with our conductor, Tony Coupe  The first concerts were a resounding success, full of energy and enthusiasm. 
 For our Spring concert we present an exciting programme with soloists and orchestra,
Bob Chilcott's  St John Passion, and the three Sprirtuals from 'A Child of Our Time' by Michael Tippett.
We will be singing with the Ellesmere College Choral Society and Ellesmere College Chapel Choir. The venue is Ellesmere College Chapel. 
The date is 14th March 2026 at 7pm.
